The solution to all conflict

I have decided that all the world’s problems have a solution. It goes without saying that the “I have decided” means that it’s true; for all people and all situations. Let’s just agree with this, shall we?

Any problem can be solved thus… KerPlunk!

The game KerPluck. Shown here are the game box and the game itself. A plastic tower, some straws and marbles. The aim of the game is to pull out the straws and not allow the marbles to fall. The winner is the player with the least marbles at the end.

Pros:

  • Clear winner at the end.
  • Small learning curve.
  • Allows for multiple players.
  • Comes in an ‘easy to carry’ box.
  • It’s colourful.
  • No cheating possible.
  • Easy for all to ‘see’ the outcome.

Cons:

  • Currently, it costs £19.99, which is fine for your average international conflict, but perhaps a little costly for the ‘who should go next in the bathroom’ style disagreement.
  • There’s a slight chance of a tie / draw.
  • Someone who is shamelessly wrong has an equal chance of winning
  • Can get quite tense towards the end.

So there you have it. Can we all agree never to disagree now… please?
