A couple of years ago a friend of mine had his Facebook account suspended. No warning or reason given. Repeated attempts to contact their support were ignored. In the end he gave up and just decided not to use that platform any more. A little while later, I had a similar experience. My account was banned, but I was able to get it back in a couple of days.
