Paris

My family just went on a, somewhat impromptu, trip to Paris over the last few days.

To say that I love Paris would be an enormous understatement. I think that it’s profoundly wonderful in so many ways.

The architecture, the food, the culture. It’s all great.

Now, I’m sure that if you live there, the daily grind would be just the same as elsewhere, but for a few quick days, just wandering about and taking in what the city has to offer, it’s wonderful!

I would add that it was hysterical that I managed to cause stress at every-single-point at which stress could possibly be added. Somehow everything that we did ended up being utterly uncertain until the exact moment it was due to happen.

The car park at the airport was too far away given how late we were arriving, and the one that we then booked on the phone was not where we thought it was.

Basically everything was like that. We arrived in the with zero minutes to spare wherever we went. All my fault!

Some tower that they have in Paris, which is quite tall.
Random church I did not know existed.
An enormous bulb of garlic!
Sacre Coeur.
The Mirror Room in the palace at Versailles.
